With Children’s Complex Care now part of the larger Brightpath Healthcare specialist group, we are strengthening our commitment to delivering safe, consistent, and personalised care at home, where children feel most comfortable, while upholding the highest standards of clinical excellence. Together, we form one of the largest specialist complex homecare providers in the UK and Ireland, with a team of over 700 frontline nurses and healthcare assistants.

Because of their condition, your child or young person may have many people involved in the support they receive. We strongly believe collaborative working is the key to effective support. That’s why we work closely with everyone involved in your child’s complex care program. By working together, we open the lines for clear communication and ensure your child or young person receives consistent, specialist support.
Our Healthcare Assistants benefit from ongoing nurse-led support and mentoring, ensuring they can confidently and safely support your child or young person’s complex needs. Our Clinical Nurse Managers govern the delivery of your child or young person’s clinical care, ensuring it meets best practice quality standards. By training our Healthcare Assistants to perform clinical duties, we can reduce costs while delivering hospital-grade care and support.
We ensure our care is holistic and embraces all parts of your child or young person’s needs. Collaborative working is key to ensuring their wider needs are met, which is why we work closely with other healthcare professionals involved in your child or young person’s support. Together, we form a multi-disciplinary team, who work in harmony to support every aspect of your child or young person’s complex care.
Living with complex care needs means your child or young person may have lots of different people involved with arranging and monitoring their care and support. We understand this can feel daunting and confusing, so we work with you and other professionals – like solicitors, case managers, and social workers – to make this process clear and simple. We also connect with schools and other community-based organisations to ensure your child has access to meaningful opportunities that will enhance their development.
